Preheat oven to 350 degrees
1 cup Flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1/3 cup melted butter
6 tablespoons dark cocoa
2 tablespoons blood orange olive oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and eggs. Mix together well. Add together butter and dark cocoa with blood orange olive oil. Add to flour mixture and mix well and add your remaining teaspoon of almond or vanilla extract. Spread into an 8×8 baking pan. Cook 20 minutes or until firm, set aside and cool. Cut into squares and serve with ice cream and a fruit balsamic drizzled over the top.
